Academic Recognition/High Achievers:  The recognition of academic achievement by the students at the end of each grading period.

College and Career Nights: The North PTSA will host College and Career nights throughout the year.  Topics include "Getting In...A timeline for 8th-11th graders" and "Funding your college education".  Information is in addition to that provided by the guidance department and can be helpful in navigating the college application process.  The meetings are held at 7:00 pm. Secret Pal Program:  This is a staff appreciation program.  We are asking for volunteers to sign up to be a Secret Pal to a staff member.  You will receive a list of your chosen staff member’s “favorites” to help you when you write notes or send in small treats to express your appreciation to them for all that they do for our students.  You will also receive monthly emails or calls to remind you to send in a note or treat!   For more information and to sign up, contact Lyne Church at lynechurch@bellsouth.net.

Cashbook Savings Coupon Books:   If you missed your chance to buy a coupon book at registration, you’ll get another opportunity!  Order form envelopes for our coupon book fundraiser were distributed to the students on September 26.  The book is only $20.00 and NOHS profits 60% of every sale!  Please check out the savings and, if interested, fill out the information, enclose a check payable to NOHS PTSA, and return the sealed envelope to the front office.  The book(s) you order will be given to your student's first block teacher so be sure to put that teacher's name on the order form.  Any questions, please contact Leslie Peak at lwpeak@insightbb.com  or call 228-0814.  Thanks for your support! 

Coffee with the Principal:  Come and enjoy an informative time with Lisa Jarrett, principal.  Get updated information and questions answered on NOHS.  These informal forums will meet the third Thursday of each month alternating mornings and evenings.  Coffee provided by Starbucks.  (times and dates are subject to change)
